Afternoon Activities

Inti Sisa organizes recreational activities for the children of Guamote and surrounding areas during creative afternoons and school holidays. During these sustainable afternoon activities, that celebrate our planet and health, local kids turn recyclables into art, create nature-inspired crafts, or build eco-friendly projects like a rooftop garden from reused materials. And we explore the world of healthy snacks: from making sugarfree fruit ice creams, baking high-fibre granola bars, to creating wholesome cakes that celebrate both taste and nutrition.

18 elected children between 6 and 10 years old, from mainly vulnerable families, participate in weekly Aflatoun classes in which they learn social and financial skills to improve their self-confidence and self-suffiency.

These experiences not only stimulate their creativity and but also empower them to become stewards of a more sustainable and healthy future.

During the school year children can also come and make their homework in our homework support classes where they can also use our computers and internet services.
