Project visit with coffee and empanadas: A journey to the heart of Inti Sisa's mission

The Inti Sisa Foundation, established in 1999, focuses on supporting and strengthening the local education network. We organise our own educational and recreational initiatives at our formation center in Guamote and also offer academic programs in public schools.

We'll begin with a detailed exploration of the magnificent mural in our hotel depicting the history of the region, the animated traditions of the local indigenous Puruha culture and the establishment of Inti Sisa.

Next we will visit our educational center where we run a kindergarten, a sewing atelier, a computer and homework support workshop and some creative and empowering programs. We will also provide an overview of our projects in the community schools. Our 24 energetic toddlers will welcome you with big smiles and enthusiastic chanting. A good start in life makes a world of difference for the future. Our passionate kindergarten teachers Jennifer and Laura offer them the best care and education.

In our sewing workshop you will witness the creation of exquisite handicrafts, crafted not only for tourists but also supplied to travel agencies. Martha who started in 2002 as a motivated student in our sewing class is now our inspirational seaming instructor

Concluding your visit, our dedicated hotel team will serve you some freshly brewed coffee and delicious homemade empanadas, a tasty end to your immersion in our Inti Sisa story.
