Social and Financial Education

The Aflatoun program is a program on social and financial education used in 102 countries to teach children and youth about their unique talents and dreams for the future, understanding their rights and responsibilities, and the importance of saving and entrepreneurship. The program aims to empower these young minds, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to become change-makers, not only in their own lives, but also in their communities.Inti Sisa teaches this program as a powerful complement to mainstream education in the state schools of indigenous communities. A shining success story stemming from this program is the "I love Pachamama" proyect in Santa Teresita school where 76 enthusiastic children, with incredible ingenuity, created their own mini-enterprise by recycling milk cartons and transforming them into purses, which they then sold with great success. Thanks to their entrepreneurial spirit and perseverance, they managed to raise enough funds for their own school trip, an impressive achievement that beautifully highlights their growing self-confidence and entrepreneur talents.Inti Sisa works with this program in the communities of Santa Teresita and Pull San Pedro and in its own educational center in Guamote. A total of 133 children receive weekly Aflatoun classes.
